Prison Cell

intuition_small(Johan Bengtsson)

The night was full of excuses
The girl full of crazy ideas
And our glasses were no longer filled at all
That night
Who looks for forgotten heroes?
Now as you sit here beside me?
I’ll follow wherever you go
From here
And I’ll give you the best of my life
I thought
As I gave you my hand
And so the samba began

The night was full of laughter and singing
And the consequences that’s bringing
Still is making a mess in my mind
Today
They took you, and I wouldn’t leave you
There, so they arrested me too
And then, what could scare me at all
Anyway?
For you gave me the best of your night
I thought
As you found your way down
To the tip of my tounge

Take me back to that prison cell
Or anywhere I feel comfortable
With you

How come that my memories are
Dimmed, but the taste of your lips
And the look of your face
Still remains
Quietly, I reached for your hand
Suddenly, I was involved in your life
But, it was a good blanket
Though, don’t you think?
For it gave us the best of the night
I thought
As the night passed away
For the dawn of the day

Take me back to that prison cell
Or anywhere I feel comfortable
With you

I ask you sincerely; are you going to stay?
Or was it just for the day?
Oh, please come to say
I need to know, ’cause I’m entrapped by your face

But you just smiled, because
The night was full of excuses
The air full of crazy ideas
And our glasses were no longer filled at all
