…and come together tonight – It won’t be in vain
This album which is, referring to the Beatles, my “white album”, contains 12 tracks which are mostly nu-jazz and jazz-house. Inspired by Jazzanova, Nuspirit Helsinki, Llorca and St. Germain, I recorded these tracks during Spring and Summer 2003. The album was readymade in November and is partly very good.
Other parts of it, I have discovered by now, lacks in quality. It’s the solo quality which is not always the best. Best track on the album is my cover of Pearl Jam’s “Go!”. The track “Stockholm”, which is a Pet Shop Boys-inspired deep house track, is great too.
