Almost every song writer has done it, stolen a chord sequence and then put a new melody on top of it. Lost Shadow’s (Johan Bengtsson) loan from Pet Shop Boys’ Being Boring is yet a little too obvious. The girl who whispers in French is also a classic synth move (remember Visage’s Fade to grey!). Fortunately enough he is also a skilful song writer, even though his equipment needs an update.

Track listing

  1. Tonight
  2. Is That Really What You Want?
  3. A Defying Sound
  4. Astray
  5. Last Track

I think the review focuses a little too much on what I have copied from others, but I like it, and since I’m a huge Pet Shop Boys fan myself, I consider it a merit to have them mentioned in my first official review…
