And and Time
The new Lost Shadow album And and Time is released today. This twelve track album is a celebration of the ten years of Lost Shadow records, and thus consists of one track from each of these years. In addition to these eleven tracks there is also a new track called Living, which is based on another old Lost Shadow track… All songs on the album has been rearranged and remixed to some extent, so Age and Time offers something new for everybody, and excellently summarises these 10 Lost Shadow years! The album can be downloaded from last.fm.

Age and Time

one comment

age_and_time_smallOn the 18th of November 2009, Age and Time was released to celebrate the ten year anniversary of the release of the first Lost Shadow recording (a single called Lost and Found). This anniversary album consists of 12 tracks, one for each year Lost Shadow has been active, plus one additional sum-up track.

The goal of the album has been to remake the songs so that they sound more modern, and offers something new even for the long time Lost Shadow listener. The focus on the album is highly electronic, capturing the major part of Lost Shadow’s career. The degree of changes made to the original tracks varies, but you who are used to specific versions of Lost Shadow songs are in for some surprises…

The album features collaborations with Love Rönnelid, Janne Bengtsson, Cinna Gärdenfors and Anders Bengtsson. The first single released from Age and Time was The Man Without A Shadow. The whole album is available for download at: http://www.last.fm/music/Lost+Shadow/Age+and+Time

Details on Age and Time – and new single arrives soon

no comments

The forthcoming 10 years anniversary collection to be released in November is on time. And it’s about time to provide some details on it. The collection will be named “Age and Time”. A preliminary release date is set to the 19th of November. The album will consist of 12 tracks, one for each year of Lost Shadow releases, and one additional track. This year’s track on the single will be called “The Man Without A Shadow”, and will be released as a single on Monday (that’s right – the day after tomorrow!) All tracks have been remixed, so there are only new versions on this collection album. Some songs are more heavily changed, while some will retain their overall structure and feeling. I personally think that this album is very exciting, and I am happy to reveal what has been taking my time during the passed six months. Stay tuned!
