Today, the new Lost Shadow single The Next Step has been officially released on iTunes, TuneTribe, Emusic, Amazon. It will soon also arrive to 7digital, Spotify and Bandcamp. The single is released as a digital-only and features fabulous remixes by !PAUS3, DJ Seitz and nYnK, as well as the b-side The Simplicity of Nothing. We personally think that this is one of the hottest tracks of the year, and complemented by three very different remixes and a contrastingly sweet b-side this is a release you shouldn’t miss. The Quandaries and Panaceas remix album Same Problems – Different Solutions has today been digitally released. It is available on iTunes, Amazon, and other digital stores. The physical release will be sold through the Phonocratic Records store at Bandcamp as of Monday next week.

The remix album features a highly diverse collection of excellent remixes by Oraku, Trance Line Project, Scarlett Nina, The Kratz, !PAUS3, Aragorn, Shane Wittig, The Argyle Raver, Nuevo Musica Gente, and Lost Shadow himself. If you prefer to try before you buy, you will be able to do so on Bandcamp as of next Monday, and soon also on Spotify. Stay tuned!

Time to get mixing again! Project Nothing Productions is hosting a remix contest with the objective to turn ambient tracks into trance tracks. Original tracks are provided by Lost Shadow, !PAUS3 and Richard Sänder. This release is going to be really cool, be sure to check it out and make the best remix you can! Lost Shadow participates with the completely new and original track Farewell and Beyond. The original Farewell and Beyond track can be heard here.

The first prize is $250 and a spot on the upcoming Project Nothing 12” to be releases, featuring ambient and trance remixes by Lost Shadow, !PAUS3 and Richard Sänder. There’s only one rule: Turn ambient into trance. Go to the contest page, fill in the form and download the stems. E-mail the resulting remix to projectnowhere@me.com. !PAUS3 has released a new single, called Flame, which is now available from iTunes. It contains two remixes by Lost Shadow, one of Flame and one of the b-side Terror. We think most Lost Shadow listeners will find them interesting, and encourage everyone to download them, and to listen to the original album “You Can Doesn’t Equal You Should” at Soundcloud. The album can be bought from iTunes, as well as from the Project Nothing Store. Lost Shadow has an ongoing project with !PAUS3, and these to remixes gives a hint to the sound of that forthcoming release. Stay tuned!
